Plant Sites

Utilizing the vast corn-trading experience of its senior managers, Alternative Energy Sources has selected the following locations for ethanol plants.


Boone County, Iowa Site
Location: Between Ogden and Beaver in the central section of Iowa
Land size: 625 acres
Location details: This large space provides great flexibility in plant design, allowing AENS to build significant rail infrastructure to accommodate the high-density Union Pacific mainline.
Annual output: 110 million gallons of ethanol 
Weekly output: 100 carloads of ethanol
Job creation: 45-55 employees with annual payroll between $2.5 and $3.5 million
Site completion: First half of 2009

Kankakee, Illinois Site
Location: 65 miles south of Chicago
Land size: 248 acres
Location details: In the Kankakee Industrial Park. The plant will be adjacent to the Canadian National/Illinois Central main railroad line, and also abuts Interstate 57.
Annual output: 110 million gallons of ethanol
Weekly output: 100 carloads of ethanol
Job creation: 45-55 employees with annual payroll between $2.5 and $3.5 million
Site completion: First half of 2009
